Guest Speaking at Bay Farm Community Church

in: Author News, Blog, For Writers & Readers, Sharing the Journey

Come hear me speak at COFFEE TALK, a Women’s Ministries Event sponsored by Bay Farm Community Church in Alameda on May 17, 2014, 9 to 11 a.m. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.

Fill yourself up with a “triple shot” of relevant messages, personal testimonies, and honest conversations. Discover how real and lasting changes come from God when we fix our attention on Him.

Guest Speakers

Judith Ingram will speak on “How Forgiveness Keeps Us Anchored In Christ.” According to Ephesians 3:17, being anchored in Christ means being rooted in his love. Hear how that love keeps us strong and gives us both the courage and the desire we need to give up our grudges and forgive one another.

Cheri Gregory will tell us how to “Get Out From Under Overwhelmed.” Learn how to resist being tossed about in an emotional ocean, overwhelmed by expectations that threaten to drown us, by anchoring ourselves in the hope “which does not disappoint” (Romans 5:5).

Treat Yourself

Tickets are on sale for $10. Bring a friend or come alone — either way, you will be greeted with a welcoming smile, coffee, and a light breakfast.
